Military Capabilities Analyst

The Challenge:

As a South Asia military capabilities analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand the security issues in the region and inform senior decision makers of military intelligence issues. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate intelligence sources. Validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for senior level Pentagon decision makers. Grow your expertise, develop new skills, and share your methodologies with other analysts. Focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, US government all-source analytic production, or specialized intelligence analysis training
  • Experience with conducting analysis of foreign military capabilities in a dynamic environment and developing or producing analytics products
  • Experience with strategic intelligence writing and tradecraft 
  • Knowledge of US IC and Combatant Command environments 
  • Knowledge of ICD 203 analytic tradecraft standards
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to clients who range from tactical to strategic levels, including actionable leads, complex written products, and formal or informal briefings 
  • Ability to provide shift work support
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam  
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with working with collection managers and crafting requirements
  • Knowledge of South Asian culture, military, religion, foreign policy, or politics 
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • BA or BS degree
