Military Force Management Expert

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of Army and Joint missions, business processes, and force management and readiness automation systems. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise in the areas of force planning, strategic policy development, organizational design, requirements determination, and systems integration. Support client needs by developing courses of action and fully staffing actions across the Army and Joint Staffs. Develop presentations and brief senior military and civilian leaders. Apply knowledge of Army Global Force Information Management processes and regulations to provide subject matter expertise in support of client business process reengineering efforts. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 5 years of experience in the Headquarters, Department of the Army in the areas of force planning, strategic policy development, organizational design, requirements determination, and systems integration
  • Knowledge of key Army Force Management systems and associated business rules to include Structure and Manpower Allocation System (SAMAS), Force Management System (FMS), and Structure and Composition System (SACS)
  • Knowledge of Army or Joint Staff policy staffing processes
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and articulate the plans to senior Army leaders or client leaders
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with requirements determination to support Army acquisition programs and processes
  • Knowledge of the Army Global Force Information Management portfolio of capabilities and systems
  • Knowledge of Key Army force management, readiness and deployment systems and association business rules to include Defense Readiness Reporting System-Army (DRRS-A), Army Force Generation Synchronization Tool (AST), Mobilization Common Operating Picture (MOBCOP), Force Management System Web (FMSWeb), and Enterprise Management Decision Support System (EMDS)
  • Knowledge of Army's Deploy-to-Redeploy Business Processes
  • Ability to develop General Office level presentations, white papers, and information papers

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
