Network Security Architecture Analyst

Key Role:

Provide cybersecurity network security architecture reviews on systems or networks in support of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for a Department of Defense program. Validate security configurations and network diagrams, to include designs and transitions including engineering and planning to operations, to ensure they are implemented in accordance with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), DoD Cybersecurity policies, requirements, and directives, including compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG), Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), and checklists. Leverage automated testing tools and manual test methodologies to identify system vulnerabilities and noncompliance. Perform risk assessments on a variety of software, hardware, and policy and guidance requests.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with performing technical security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, security control reviews, network diagram reviews, and system configuration checks to support RMF
  • Experience with the detailed design, installation, and configuration of IT systems and networks in accordance with the DoD Cybersecurity policies and STIGs, including the configuration and use of security products
  • Experience performing IT application, system, and Network project reviews and providing technical and policy DoD cybersecurity guidance
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • 8140/8570 IAM Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with eMASS
  • Experience with Splunk

Clearance:
