The Challenge:
Do you love solving problems? Are you passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution? On our Air Force team, you’ll evaluate data assessment strategies, such as process assessment and what if analyses to deliver solutions.
You won’t go at it alone; you’ll work alongside a team of simulation experts and subject matter experts to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data, such as life cycle cost and benefit analyses. Once documented, you’ll develop documentation to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.
In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, such as agent-based models, discrete event models, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Use your operations research knowledge to develop technologies and concepts that advance aerospace operation.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with Agent Based, Discrete Event, and Systems Dynamics modeling methodologies
4+ years of experience with simulation software packages
4+ years of experience using analytical and statistical software technologies, including R, MATLAB, Python, or SAS
4+ years of experience with database development
Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Management Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics
Nice If You Have:
Experience with advanced optimization modeling tools, including MPL, GUROBI, CPLEX, or AIMMS
Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, discovery, analysis, and visualization of data
Experience with formulating linear programs or heuristics
Master's degree in Operations Research, Management Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or similar technical field
Clearance:
