Operations Research Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Do you love solving problems? Are you passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution? On our Service oriented team, you’ll evaluate data assessment strategies such as management, technology, and program assessments to deliver solutions.

You won’t go at it alone; you’ll work alongside Service, DoD and Industry experts to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data such as cost and benefit, what-if analysis, and operational assessments. Once documented, you’ll develop engagement strategies, information and decision briefs, documents, presentations, and products to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you’ll use your passion for assessment, analytics and statistics to devise strategies and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational visualization techniques and other principles and laws of scientific, economic, and military disciplines.

Use your operations research knowledge to develop strategies, analysis technologies and concepts that advance DoD and Service capabilities.

You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience with the DoD or the Military

  • 10+ years of experience with space operations

  • Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, or common Service-specific Web functions

  • Knowledge of organizational culture and structure

  • Ability to translate warfighter needs to articulate capability gaps

  • Ability to discuss current and projected acquisition programs within the respective service

  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
