Key Role:
Serve as a social science subject matter expert. Act as a technical consultant to a government research and development client. Maintain responsibility for proposal technical evaluation, program and project management, development of technical analyses, preparation of briefing materials, identification of technology gaps, technical risk management, technology transfer efforts, and programmatic assistance, including interacting with program performers, supporting technical reviews, and attending program reviews, site visits, or field tests. Work with world-class scientists driving forward research efforts and development of quantitative social sciences for specific applications. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients and brief materials out for government research and development efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with quantitative methods for social or behavioral sciences research
-2+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to commute to Arlington, VA
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-MA or MS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with defense research and development
-Knowledge of application of agent-based modeling, system dynamics modeling, social network analysis, and machine learning for social research
-Possession of excellent client service skills
-MA or MS degree in Computational Social Science or related scientific field preferred; PhD a plus
