RF/mm Wave Circuit Design Technology Consultant

Key Role:

Serve as a strategic consultant for high-risk government research and development programs in disciplines related to integrated circuits with an emphasis on Radio Frequency (RF) and Multimeter (mm) wave design. Work with world-class scientists and engineers in driving forward research efforts for cutting-edge technologies. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and relationships in serving clients. Provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior decision-makers while evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government R&D efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years working in a design environment with analog, mixed-signal, RF, or mm wave circuit design

-Experience with industry standard circuit design tools and techniques

-Ability to be self-motivated and work in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to commute to Arlington, VA

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences

-Experience with technical project or program management

-Experience with DoD research and development projects

-Knowledge of test and verification of RF or mm wave circuits

-Knowledge of signal processing circuits and systems for RF and mm wave applications

-Knowledge of multiple physics and engineering disciplines a plus

-Ability to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies in support of new concept development

-Possession of excellent client service skills

-MS degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or related fields preferred; PhD degree in EE, Computer Engineering or related fields a plus
