The Challenge:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting government defense customers? We’re looking for a systems administrator to develop and support solutions that address the unique missions of clients through cutting–edge tools, best–in–class technologies, multiple engineering labs and reach back to a multidisciplinary technology and consulting firm. You'll provide technical and business system support across a large test and evaluation or information assurance contract, with multiple teams executing on and a diverse set of systems and technologies.
As a systems administrator on our program, you will provide technical support for protecting critical information, systems, and assets. You will learn how to help vital build solutions, troubleshoot, and implement new software and hardware. You will help customers overcome tough challenges through system monitoring and performance management. Your communication skills will come in handy as you provide staff training and help desk support and assist with the development of an overall IT strategy for our government client. This is an opportunity to gain experience in virtual machines, Linux IT systems, and distributed network environments. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:
2+ years of experience with IT systems support, including configuration, networking, and administration
Experience with supporting Microsoft products
Knowledge of installation, support, and maintenance for both physical and virtual network servers
Ability to install, configure, and maintain software, hardware and operating systems on workstations, laptops, and servers
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain IAT II Certification within 30 days of hire
Nice If You Have:
3+ years of experience with systems administration
Experience with virtualization
Experience with supporting VMware/vSphere
Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Knowledge of networking
Bachelor’s degree
Security CE+ Certification
Clearance:
