With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a technical editor, you'll use your specialized expertise in producing all-source intelligence analysis, managing the production of analysis products, and attention to detail to develop intelligence products and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security and inform our nation’s leaders.

As an analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their mission environment and add clarity for the team's investment assessment products. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources open source intelligence. You’ll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for internal client publications and US IC-wide products. As the authority on your editing, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like intelligence investment analysis. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

-2+ years of experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization

-Experience with producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products through all stages of the intelligence production process 

-Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards, as defined in the production of all-source intelligence products

-Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy 

-Ability to keep accurate records, including tracking numerous projects simultaneously

-Ability to format Word documents

-Ability to closely monitor email traffic and respond to requests in a timely manner

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 10+ years of experience with analysis

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
