Technical Engagement Network Lab Manager, Mid

Key Role:

Assist an agency dedicated to Cybersecurity with defending the nation from Cyber attacks. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weakness. Analyze the development of procedures and documentation on the usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analysis tools. Research, identify, and implement commercial and open-source technology and create and maintain in-house tools to accomplish tasks, including integrating commercial products, automating the reset, deployment, testing, and configuration of kits, and improving the efficiency of network capture rates. Identify and recommend uses of new technologies that support the mission and write and maintain technical documentation of all tools built and customized in-house.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with developing computer network defense policies and procedures, SOPs, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

-Ability to perform technical analyses of software, hardware, and transmission facilities using diagnostic tools to support efficient network operations

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or IT or BA or BS degree and 3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or IT

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading and overseeing an incident response engagement or fly-away team

-Experience with conducting gap analysis and providing technical recommendations of the operational capabilities, compared to the latest known adversary tactics and tools

-BA or BS degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field

-GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
