Threat Requirements Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide IT network and program requirements analysis to support the Navy’s alignment to DoD network architecture and Cybersecurity efforts, including the Navy’s SCI networks, and other Navy enterprise-wide IT and communications programs. Research and develop emerging Cybersecurity technical requirements and capabilities needed to defend the Navy’s networks and provide detailed analysis of technical and funding requirements to senior Navy leadership within OPNAV N2N6. Perform detailed financial analysis to provide assessments of network capabilities and requirements to support and defend Navy network investments during each phase of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle. Participate in planning and support of Navy and DoD IT meetings to analyze new policies, requirements, and financial data to accurately present Navy positions to senior Navy leaders to inform critical decisions on network strategy, requirements, policy, and investments. Interface and liaise with numerous Navy and DoD IT network stakeholders, coordinate, lead, and participate in stakeholder meetings, and collect and analyze Navy and SCI network requirements. This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in IT; Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Space, or Unmanned Systems

-Experience with Navy or other DoD IT network requirements

-Experience with PPBE, POM, and the requirements generation process

-Experience with developing and briefing material to senior client leadership to support decision-making

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 

-Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment

-Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and creatively to lead client initiatives

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with Navy or Service staff as military, civilian, or consultant, including Joint Staff, OPNAV, and Navy Systems Commands

-Experience with DoD and Navy IT policies, technical and network requirements, and architecture

-Possession of excellent technical and analytic skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree
