AI Architect, Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

The client is modernizing its IT infrastructure through Data Modernization Accelerator and other contracts, including cloud adoption, adoption of data standards and improved public health data pipelines, application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), and availability of shared analytics and visualization services. This modernization requires an AI Solution Architect, Senior Manager, in the Atlanta geography, to build relationships and lead efforts related to AI-ready data, AI enabled data pipelines, AI Operations, Responsible AI, and public health user support. We need you to help us develop cloud-based AI solutions for some of Public Health’s toughest data modernization efforts.

As a leader on our team, you will process data and information at massive scale with AI or ML technologies, apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts, contribute to the development of new principles and concepts, and lead design and hands on development of solutions to highly complex problems in support of multiple missions’ successes. In addition, you will provide thought leadership, drive business growth within the market, and develop and maintain client relationships. You’ll take an active role in the development, mentoring, and coaching of a team of data scientists, ML Engineers, and domain experts, work to actively enhance the diversity of the firm, and play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining a world-class team of AI professionals supporting the firm’s health business.

You Have:

  • Experience architecting and developing cloud solutions that enable data scientists to build and deploy AI models at scale
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in AI, Python programming, and Deep Learning frameworks, including PyTorch, MXNet, TensorFlow, Keras, and big data technologies like Hive, PySpark, Synapse, and Databricks
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience integrating DevSecOps or MLOps practices and principles
  • Experience integrating AI and ML capabilities into software architecture design
  • Knowledge of database management concepts, storage, query, and retrieval methods
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience leading projects involving ingesting, processing, storing, and analyzing healthcare data, electronic health records, medical imaging, and genomics, and conforming to healthcare regulations and data privacy considerations
  • Experience with the application of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision for intelligence use cases
  • Experience developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services
  • Experience in project management, vendor management, and client relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree in CS

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
