Data Scientist, Mid

Key Role:

Apply broad understanding of the principles of computer and information science to the advancement of life sciences research, health professions education, public health, and care, including informatics, clinical informatics, and public health informatics. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

This position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or R

  • Experience with data visualization

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with PySpark or SparkR

  • Experience with data cleaning and management

  • Experience with configuration of Palantir Foundry

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes

  • Master's degree
