IT Portfolio Management Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Work with a high-performing dynamic team to develop innovative IT portfolio management and governance solutions for a client agency. Analyze the development of customized artifacts, templates, guidance, training, and analytic tools to mature client processes. Provide consultative support to the client by performing portfolio analysis to help them gain greater transparency into their IT investment portfolio and to identify optimization opportunities. Meet with project teams to comprehend the scope of IT projects being initiated regularly and facilitate periodic project reviews. Collaborate with the security team to support system delivery and align security and governance processes. Support enterprise IT Portfolio annual investment and operational analysis data calls.

Basic Qualifications

-3+ years of experience with IT management and strategy, including Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC)

-Experience with research, gathering data, conducting quantitative analysis, and presenting analytical findings

-Experience with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

-Experience with documenting and managing requirements, issues, and actions and identifying and implementing best practices.

-Experience with delivering briefings to senior-level leaders in an organization.

-Knowledge of Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), IT Portfolio Management, program or project management, and process improvement

-Ability to work independently to drive thought leadership in a high-volume client environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with IT software development and data management and strategy

-Experience with developing and implementing IT management frameworks, including Waterfall or Agile

-Experience with facilitating stage gates or project reviews

-Experience with Visio

-Knowledge of software development processes, including Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC)

-Knowledge of change management frameworks

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
