Key Role:
Provide detailed weather support for 24/7/365 client operations. Assist with the development and integration of relevant weather data into advanced systems and technologies. Integrate all weather environmental data from a variety of sources to assess current and forecasted weather environments to issue weather products, including alert bulletins and forecast an anomaly assessment. Perform quick-look and forensic assessments to determine the potential for weather impacts to operations. Ensure the quality and timeliness of the production process use data or product monitoring tools and assess the impact to products of missing or erroneous data, including validating and verifying weather models, products, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with weather forecasting and meteorology
Knowledge of oceanographic, meteorological, and space atmospheric conditions
Ability to develop forecasts in support of operational clients
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with USAF airborne ISR programs
Experience with authoring technical documentation and training materials
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
BS degree in Meteorology or related technical field
Clearance:
