Digital Design and Verification Engineer

The Challenge:

Work with industry-leading engineers in world-class research facilities to impact national security investment through new development of military applications for cutting-edge technologies. Maintain and leverage technical expertise, build lasting relationships in serving clients. Provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies to support senior DoD decision makers, including conducting background research in evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new technological concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government research and development efforts.

You Have:

-3+ years experience in an engineering role

-Experience with common ASIC or FPGA design architectures in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog

-Experience with ASIC or FPGA functional or security verification analysis and techniques using simulation/emulation, and/or UVM testbenches

-Experience with custom integrated circuit layouts for digital, analog, and mixed–signal designs

-Experience with EDA tool suites from vendors that include Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, or Xilinx for VLSI design, synthesis, place and route physical design, integration, timing, and power optimization

-Experience with performing technical research, documenting results, and presenting findings to customers and stakeholders

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with writing UVM/OVM/VMM and SystemVerilog tests and coverage metrics for functional verification

-Experience with the design of electronic architectures using microprocessors and peripherals, including oscillators, SRAM, or Flash

-Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a client-service mindset, seek out solutions, and deliver value within uncertain and evolving project environments

-Active Secret clearance or higher
-MA or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
