Key Role:

Analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Apply specific functional knowledge and working, general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as needed. Work independently with some guidance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with statistical analysis packages
• Knowledge of applying Design of Experiments (DOE) principles to developing analysis matrices
• Ability to follow Operations Research (OR) principles and concepts to draft and execute study plans
• Ability to apply sound engineering judgement to compare simulation outputs with predicted hypotheses
• Ability to portray complex and intertwined analysis results to a less technical audience
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD campaign analysis simulations, including Thunder, STORM, or OneSAF
• Experience with using Python to post-process simulation outputs to compile analysis statistics and develop insights and conclusions
• Experience in a UNIX or Linux command-line environment
• Experience with deriving and communicating key drivers from large amounts of raw model output data
• Knowledge of the DoD and foreign threat ground, maritime, and air domain weapon systems
• MA or MS degree
