NexGen IT Instructional Strategist

Key Role:

Demonstrate expertise in a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the training and education field. Manage, maintain, and develop IT training content for Air Force client users and edit technical content for clarity and brevity. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, including ensuring solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives. Determine and develop approaches to solutions independently. Conduct work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects. Maintain training materials in a strict Agile configuration construct.  

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Air Force terms, definitions, business processes, rules, and regulations

-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

-Knowledge of Air Force Civil Engineer legacy IT systems, including the Interim Work Information Management System (IWIMS) and Automated Civil Engineering System (ACES)

-Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subject matter experts, and other members of the team in multiple formats

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with courseware development tools, including Adobe Captive or Articulate

-Experience with working on DoD training and education programs

-Knowledge of principles and methods of training and instructional design

-Ability to think creatively and perform with agility in a dynamic, geographically dispersed, multi-functional team environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including editing and authoring technical, engaging content tailored for a military audience
