Executive Assistant

Key Role:

Performs the same duties as an executive secretary to support the highest levels within the organization, including a vice president or officer. Exercise discretion, independent judgment, exposure to highly confidential data, tact, and poise. Leverage considerable latitude and flexibility in carrying out assigned tasks. Supervise or provide work direction to junior secretaries and use advanced software packages, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with providing executive-level administrative support in a large corporate environment

-Experience with calendar management, making travel arrangements, managing and preparing expense reports, and planning meetings

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Knowledge of business correspondence and drafting letters and communications

-Ability to be detail-oriented and proofread on grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy

-Ability to create presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with government contracting operations, HR policies, and business operations
-Experience in coordination and follow-through with executive level meetings

-Ability to be collaborative and promote a team environment

-Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree preferred
