Network Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you will plan, support, and evaluate complex existing network systems and make recommendations for resources required to maintain and expand service levels. You’ll use network management tools to discover, map, and maintain the network as well as maintain responsibility for network equipment operating system (OS) and version upgrades. In addition, you’ll conduct research of new technologies and implementation strategies as well as monitor and maintain network interfaces to ensure its highest level of performance and make modifications and enhancements, as needed

You Have:

  • Experience with network engineering or network design
  • Experience with all phases of network designing, testing, implementing, operations, and maintenance
  • Experience with monitoring firewalls and network performance and interacting with users to solve the most complex problems
  • Experience with providing Active Directory and Exchange Server support to remote sites
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security + or CISSP Certification required

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with planning and incorporating how new network resources and applications will exist on the network
  • Ability to provide and develop technical standards and interface applications, identify and evaluate new products, and provide solutions for network problems
  • Ability to document procedures and keeping network diagrams and other materials up-to-date
  • BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
