Azure Cloud Computing Architect, Lead

Here, you’ll oversee our team of experts and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Azure to design, communicate, and implement secure cloud solutions at scale. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to build and manage multi-tenant Azure and multi-cloud platforms to further the mission.  This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:  

  • 4+ years of experience as an Azure Solutions Architect at enterprise scale
  • Experience leading enterprise application migrations to Azure
  • Experience designing and delivering secure multi-tenant Azure platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps and Cloud Native concepts and technologies, including CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to lead a dedicated Azure platform team independently
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Microsoft Azure Certification

Nice If You Have:  

  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering principles
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
