Biologist and Health Research Consultant

Key Role:

Provide scientific consulting support to health research clientele. Provide delivery to health and science research organization clients. Apply knowledge of the workings of government research organizations, to assist clients with data, project, and process problems. Participate in the growth of the life sciences capability through client engagements, branding and marketing activities, and development of intellectual capital.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with research procedures and data analysis

-Experience with infectious disease and immunology

-Experience with cutting-edge technologies in the 'omics field

-Experience with National Institutes of Health (NIH) and university environments

-Experience in working with various scientific stakeholders

-Experience with managing projects

-Ability to work successfully in a team-based or project environment

-Ability to work as part of a team or independently to conduct analyses, review literature, and draft findings to advance a science client's mission

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in a Science or Health field

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with research in infectious disease biology or analytic chemistry

-Experience with Microsoft Office and analytic tools preferred

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Active Public Trust or Secret clearance preferred

-PhD degree in a Life Science or Health field preferred
