CIO Program Manager

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with managing complex and cross functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of project management best practices
  • Ability to effectively lead and drive the delivery of defined project objectives and deliverables through all phases, including planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closure
  • Ability to be consensus amongst stakeholder group, clients, and project team members to ensure cross functional collaboration and engagement.
  • Ability to work with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ability to develop a detailed project schedule, including dependencies to monitor and to track the progress of the project
  • Ability to coordinate with SMEs and other project team members to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress, schedule, cost, risks, or issues
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), specifically scope, integration, time, cost, and risk management
  • Ability to write clear, professional documentation
  • Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills
  • PMP certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $77,400 - $110,000 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $82,300 - $125,000 (annualized USD)
