Configuration Manager

Key Role:

Protect the integrity of a project’s delivered products, from code to technical documentation. Leverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for software code, packages, libraries, containers, virtual machines, releases, and documents. Own the project’s configuration management plan, facilitate configuration control boards, and establish the configuration management library. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
  • Experience using active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to provide system architecture support to multiple environments
  • Ability to develop configuration management planning, including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
  • Ability to support the change process to ensure approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite such as JIRA or Confluence
  • Experience with Agile principles and concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
