Digital Content Operations Team Lead

Key Role:

Serve as the lead for the web service desk for a high profile government client and provide professional and efficient team support. Assume responsible for managing daily operations of the web service desk, including representing the team to other stakeholders, and helping to ensure that the team is constantly developing and improving. Approach the work with a customer service mindset. Assist with the standardization of procedures, including quality assurance, along with training and mentoring in best practice for web content. Play a key role in the continued development of the web service desk team and serve as part of the leadership team for the program. Provide thought leadership solving client problems through effective communications and collaboration fostering trusted partnerships with the client and internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with leading diverse, cross-functional teams in career growth and delivery

  • Experience with Drupal content management concepts

  • Experience with basic copyediting

  • Experience with managing multiple projects such as website maintenance, website redesigns, and content migrations

  • Experience with performing quality assurance tasks

  • Experience with interfacing and providing briefings directly with senior government executives or internal leadership and stakeholders

  • Knowledge of 508 Accessibility and Plain Language standards

  • Knowledge of basic HTML

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing best practices and recommendations for how content and features appear on digital products

  • Experience with leading diverse, cross-functional teams in career growth and delivery

  • Experience with creating job aids

  • Knowledge of content strategy, including with content audits, information architecture, taxonomy, and metadata
