Health Bioinformatics and Immunology Research Consultant

Key Role:

Provide scientific consulting support and delivery to health research and science research organization clientele. Apply knowledge of the workings of government and private research organizations, to assist clients with data, project, and process problems. Work individually and in teams to conduct analyses, review literature, draft findings to advance a client's mission. Participate in the growth of the life sciences capability through client engagements, branding and marketing activities, and development of intellectual capital. Leverages scientific knowledge to support biological or biochemical research agendas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with research procedures and data analysis

  • Experience with infectious disease and immunology and virology
  • Experience with cutting-edge technologies in the 'omics field

  • Experience with NIH and university settings
  • Experience working with various scientific stakeholders

  • Experience managing projects

  • Ability to work in teams or independently to conduct analyses, review literature, and draft findings to advance a science clients mission

  • Ability to work successfully in a team based or project environment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Master's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with research in infectious disease biology or analytic chemistry

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and analytic tools preferred

  • Knowledge of vaccines, therapeutics or diagnostics preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Public Trust preferred

  • Doctorate in life science or a biomedical field preferred
