Key Role:
Apply expertise in problem-solving to developing solutions to operational, strategic, and data challenges for federal public health agencies. Use data resources and bioinformatics software to develop specialized databases and analytical tools. Recommend enhancements to analytical, processing, and statistical software, test improvements to bioinformatics tools, and support the provision of access to relevant data and enhanced analytical, visualization, and other computational tools and techniques. Work with project delivery teams to provide analytical support for the execution of project approaches, including the development of deliverables and strategic recommendations to drive organizational and data improvements in business processes, program operations, strategic planning, policy effectiveness, analysis, reporting, data integration, and decision-making. Develop advanced IT solutions under the direction of project managers to integrate clinical and nonclinical data into regulatory business processes and decision making. Support the communication of practical solutions to clients in the form of data-driven presentations, briefings, and reports.
Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with health or bio-informatics software tools, including SAS, R, JMP, or JMP Clinical
-Knowledge of medical product development and regulatory pathways
-Ability to work in a team-based or project environment
-BA or BS degree in Life Sciences, Health or Bio-informatics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with clinical or nonclinical data management and analysis
-Possession of excellent analytical skills
-Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills
-MPH, MBA, or MA or MS degree in Life Sciences, Health/Bio-informatics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Health-related field
-Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC)
