Human Resources Consultant, Mid

Key Role:

Support client engagements by providing a broad range of human resources services. Coordinate senior level performance management activities. Manage organizational changes, including maintaining awareness of requirements and processes, reviewing requests for changes, preparing packages, and tracking the status of pending requests. Coordinate awards programs activities. Deliver HR related training, including creating a training curriculum, developing materials, and conducting training. Conduct audits of HR activities, including working with subject matter experts to collect data, identifying areas to assess based on data, evaluating compliance with HR policies and guidelines, and preparing reports on findings. Review HR policies and implement needed changes and draft position descriptions in line with federal government classification standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the federal HR field
  • Experience with applying federal HR policies and procedures
  • Experience with working in a fast paced, high intensity, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to analyze client issues, determine data collection and data analysis strategies, strategize potential solutions, and prepare client-ready reports
  • Ability to demonstrate breadth of experience across multiple areas of HR
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Capital Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Sociology preferred
  • Strategic Human Capital Management Certification
  • Strategic Workforce Planning Certification
  • Human Capital Strategist Certification
