IAM Health IT Service Delivery Manager

The Opportunity:

You will serve as a Service Delivery Manager with focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments as part of an Infrastructure services delivery contract. You'll lead hands-on technical service delivery in the areas of IAM and Domain Name Services (DNS) and day-to-day operations, including Ticket and Service Management and Log Management, pertaining to these services. 

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the Service Delivery Manager and thought leader of a technical group responsible for activities related to IAM and DNS engineering, operations and maintenance.  You will motivate and inspire technical staff to efficiently deliver the quality support services that ensure optimal performance, uptime, availability, and security of our client’s critical infrastructure. In this role your will collaborate with a diverse team to support a fast-paced, critical program. It requires you to be able to effectively communicate with customers, engineers, system administrators, team members, and management and use sound judgment when considering enterprise impacts of technical decisions.

We are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager with knowledge of Active Directory, CyberArk, Azure, PowerShell, vulnerability remediation, system configuration, and leading complex IAM and DNS projects. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team to help us maintain and improve the systems we support, providing the client with a functional and secure platform in a shared services environment. As the Service Delivery Manager for IAM on our program, you will oversee a technical networking team that configures, monitors, manages and repairs our client’s IAM and DNS systems and components. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement, communicate those needs to the team, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You'll anticipate routine and non-routine issues to prevent unplanned disruptions of critical systems. You'll establish and maintain a strong, close working relationship with client leaders, functional area counterparts, external consultants, and product vendors. You'll assist the program manager with strategy, vision, planning, maturing of the IAM team. This position requires the ability to work evening and weekend hours when necessary for installations, implementations, upgrades, and outages.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with IAM and DNS engineering and operations

  • Experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation

  • Experience interacting with cross functional project teams

  • Experience in a leadership role

  • Experience with Active Directory, CyberArk, Azure, and scripting, such as PowerShell

  • Knowledge of IAM and DNS system configurations, vulnerability remediation, and leading complex IAM and DNS projects

  • Knowledge of computer system monitoring, scanning, patching, compliance, and trouble ticket tools, such as Tenable, Splunk, SolarWinds, Tanium, or ServiceNow

  • Ability to function effectively under pressure and deadline-oriented project demands while managing multiple initiatives

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Possession of excellent client facilitation skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

  • PMP or ITIL Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
