Key Role:
Provide scientific consulting support and delivery to health and science research organization clients. Apply knowledge of the workings of government research organizations to assist clients with data, project, and process problems. Leverage scientific knowledge to support biological or biochemical research agendas. Apply specific functional knowledge, and working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and may review or guide activities of more junior employees. Participate in the growth of the life sciences capability through client engagements, branding and marketing activities, and development of intellectual capital.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with research procedures and data analysis
Experience with infectious disease, immunology and virology
Experience with cutting-edge technologies in the 'omics field
Experience with NIH and university settings
Experience in working with various scientific stakeholders
Experience managing projects
Ability to work successfully in a team -based or project environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Master's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with research in infectious disease biology or analytic chemistry
Experience with Microsoft Office and analytic tools preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Public Trust preferred
Doctorate degree in life science or a biomedical field preferred
