Key Role:
Leverage expertise in payment policy, quality and performance measurement, alternative payment models, and healthcare finance. Advise clients and lead teams in the design and execution of methodologies to evaluate health care payment reform initiatives, including episode-based alternative payment models and population-based payment models. Lead and grow a team of analysts with the responsibility to perform advanced analyses and studies of health care claims data.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience using quantitative methods to answer health care policy and programmatic questions
Experience leading in the development and implementation of statistical models, including with common statistical software packages
Experience analyzing health data, including healthcare claims, health records, and provider data
Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs, including alternative payment models
Knowledge of the U.S. health care finance system, health insurance payment processes, and risk adjustment and pricing methodologies
Knowledge of CMS environments and systems, including Integrated Data Repository (IDR) and Chronic Conditions Warehouse (CCW)
Ability to lead creation of technical documentation for complex health care finance projects
Ability to manage staff, oversee complex projects and analytic tasks, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences to explain complex methodologies and present findings and recommendations
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the federal procurement and proposal process
Knowledge of payment policy issues impacting the U.S. health care system
Master’s degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
