Corporate IT Project Manager

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with managing multi-year, complex and cross functional IT business directive initiatives

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, and Waterfall, to support mid to large sized organizations

  • Ability to effectively lead and drive the execution of IT project objectives and deliverables through all phases of project: planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closure

  • Ability to drive consensus amongst stakeholder group, clients, and project team members to ensure cross functional collaboration and engagement

  • Ability to work with and manage internal and external parties,  distributing tasks for the successful execution of IT projects

  • Ability to develop a detailed project schedule, including dependencies to monitor and to track the progress of the project

  • Ability to coordinate with SMEs and other project team members to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress, schedule, cost, risks, or issues

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), specifically scope, integration, time, cost, and risk management

  • Ability to write clear, professional documentation

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700 to $154,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
