Radiation Oncology Transformation Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Apply advanced comprehension of the analysis process for performance, procedures, and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. Contribute on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety. Provide leadership and mentoring for junior employees. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as leader on large programs and projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with radiation oncology in a clinical or administrative capacity
  • 7+ years of experience with improving clinical quality, quality measures, or convening action-oriented quality improvement groups
  • Experience with implementing practice transformation initiatives designed to help care providers achieve health transformation goals in multiple settings
  • Experience with facilitating large scale learning sessions
  • Knowledge of Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Medicare Access and Chip Reauthorization (MACRA) legislation
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payment environments or structures
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid Services
  • Ability to discuss health care delivery redesign and approaches
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BS degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, or Business or MA or MS degree
