Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Take ownership of work from idea to production and work alongside other engineers to deliver high-quality features and accelerate the platform's capabilities. Approach problems head-on and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly to complete the task at hand. Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve complex system issues. Perform implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for agile software development. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and briefing senior leadership
  • Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for program and project management, business case reports, risks, and issues 
  • Knowledge of the JCIDs requirements process and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Experience with implementing clinical information systems in the commercial or government sectors
  • Experience with Agile development efforts
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, show initiative, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with client supervisors in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for briefing senior leadership
  • Public Trust or Secret clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Certification
