Managed Threat Services Sales Account Executive

Key Role:
Uncover and drive complex technical sales initiatives for Booz Allen’s Managed Threat Services (MTS) capability within the fast-growing Commercial group. Collaborate with internal and external senior-level executives, including chief information security officers (CISOs), chief information officers (CIOs), chief technology officers (CTOs), chief financial officers (CFOs), senior vice presidents (SVPs), vice presidents (VPs), and IT leaders to enhance their Cybersecurity threat visibility dramatically across the enterprise. Leverage Booz Allen’s proven approach to MTS, which combines attack detection, threat hunting, incident response, and tailored threat intelligence to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions to the client base. Focus on identifying and uncovering new client sales opportunities to build and close a pipeline of qualified business while leading and executing all aspects of business development functions for a given geographic region, including prospecting, presenting, and closing opportunities. Translate customer business and technical requirements and success criteria into new MTS opportunities and lead negotiations for enterprise MTS contracts. Work successfully across cross-functional teams in selling situations to provide a unified voice and value proposition to the customer base regarding Booz Allen’s service and technical differentiation in the marketspace. Align internal resources, SMEs, and business leaders to support selling efforts for key accounts. This position is a direct sales role, selling MTS services to net new MTS clients and is available for remote delivery but does require at least 50% travel.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in a direct sales position, including a hunter role selling complex managed security services with a managed security service provider (MSSP) or managed detection and response (MDR) provider
-5+ years of experience in the professional services space focused on solutions and consulting sales
-Experience with leading and closing negotiations focused on enterprise-level managed service contracts
-Experience with developing client relationships and C-level relevance across enterprise organizations
-Experience with working and selling in a startup environment
-Experience with technical acumen, including information security and technology, technology services, networking, architecture, and security technologies for security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint, and others
-Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures
-Ability to be a highly-motivated entrepreneurial self-starter and display a track record of success with building new pipelines, managing funnels, and achieving performance against quota
-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience with industry sales in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with technical sales in a start-up environment
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Ability to perform a variety of complicated, detail-oriented assignments simultaneously and deliver preferred outcomes in allotted time frames
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Ability to leverage business acumen and executive presence
-Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding business and client information
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-CISSP, CCE, and PFI Certifications a plus
