Managed Threat Services Sales Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Partner with Booz Allen Hamilton's commercial enterprise clients and prospective clients, sales, and security practice experts to demonstrate the benefits of the firm’s managed detection and response, threat intelligence, and threat hunting Cybersecurity services. Maintain responsibility for assisting the sales team with technical conversations with the client about Managed Threat Services (MTS) and assist with the execution of the contract. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in the firm’s commercial security service portfolio, including managed detection and response, threat intelligence, and other services. Provide consultative solution and service enablement, technical and sales support for major account opportunities, and perform technical presentations for existing clients, prospective clients, and internal leadership. Comprehend business requirements for Booz Allen Hamilton's client base, translate into relevant technical requirements and roadmaps, and create, present, and document proposed security service proposals and architectures. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and development functioning as the technical bridge between Booz Allen and customers. Develop technical presentations and documentation to support request for proposal (RFP) responses, proposals, and statements of work for new services and architectures.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with technical sales or pre-sales, including working with and positioning Cybersecurity services, incident response services, and threat intelligence and threat hunting services

-Experience developing meaningful client relationships and C-level relevance across enterprise organizations, including CFO, CIO, CTO, CISO, and others

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures, including endpoint detection technologies, SIEM, and security event analysis and response

-Ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management

-Ability to fully comprehend complex architectures and quickly identify possible opportunities to improve client’s security posture leveraging currently deployed resources where possible

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

-Ability to show proven track record of success of partnering with sales executives to identify sales opportunities within accounts, build new business pipeline, manage sales funnels, and exceeding quota

-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience with industry sales in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio applications

-Ability to perform a variety of complicated, detail-oriented assignments and deliver preferred outcomes in allotted time frames

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment

-Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding business and client information

-Possession of excellent leadership skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including presenting to a variety of external audiences and interacting with senior executives

-CISSP, CCE, and PFI Certification preferred
