The Challenge:
As a data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. Do you want to grow your analytics experience by contributing to the development of innovative solutions? Do you get excited at the prospect of supporting a mission and using data for good? With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. We need you to bring your knowledge to provide realistic simulations information derived from military operational training products.
As a client-facing data analyst on our Mission Command Training Support Program with the Emerging Threat Training and Readiness Capability team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on how they will conduct exercises and impact training.
How You’ll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:
Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
Research, develop, and test data methodologies and generate cross-functional solutions through operational collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
Apply consulting, communication, and coordination skills when applying data analytics experiences by simplifying technical requirements and trends.
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of Joint Land Component Constructive Capability databases and Microsoft Office suite.
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
Apply data visualization through different formats such as Excel spreadsheets, graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions across the Mission Command Training Support Program enterprise.

You Have:
Knowledge of Military Operations and Training Scenarios
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with Military Task Organization or Master's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Scenario Generation Tool
Knowledge of Force Management System Web and Joint Training Data Services
Ability to interpret military operational structure and design
Clearance:
