Key Role:
Support a client, including facilitating host level vulnerability scanning, monitoring, mitigation, and analysis through the usage of endpoint security software suites. Provide comprehensive internal and external scanning services, including using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to detect and analyze attack vectors across the client's operating environments, such as NIPRNet and SIPRNet in accordance with all active DoD policies and procedures. Conduct external web scans on public facing websites. Test, evaluate, and deploy endpoint scanning tools and configurations to other applicable endpoints and maintain mission partner PoC information, Internet Protocol (IP) ranges, and DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR) lists. Communicate, resolve, re-validate, and prevent scan failures with all stakeholders in accordance with DoD policies and procedures. Present results and recommendations to clients, including senior leaders.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with endpoint tools and Cybersecurity
-3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
-Ability to test, evaluate, and deploy endpoint scanning tools and configurations to endpoints and maintain mission partner PoC information, Internet Protocol (IP) ranges, and DITPR lists
-Ability to analyze mission requirements and organizational feedback to create, configure, maintain, and improve scan reports
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting a DoD agency
-Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs)
-Ability to coordinate and manage the work of junior team members
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to present complex technical concepts to senior clients
-BA or BS degree
