Unix Cybersecurity Compliance Reviewer, Mid

Key Role:
Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary or confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. Conduct regular audits to ensure systems are being operated securely and computer security policies and procedures are being implemented, as defined in security plans. Prepare materials for computer security education or awareness programs. Respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. This position requires ravel of up to 85% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

 

Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with UNIX OSes on Information Systems (IS), including workstations, servers, and laptops, and network devices
-
Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and assessment tools
-Ability to consolidate, create, and brief findings based on analysis
-Ability to travel up to 85% of the time to client locations within and outside of the United States
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with instructing training courses
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance preferred
-BA or BS degree
-8570 IAT II Certification or 8570 IAT III Certification preferred
