Agile Project Manager

Key Role:

Manage the creation of a new Java-based rules engine for an application in a Cloud environment. Document user stories, activities, tasks, and dependencies. Perform sprint planning activities and producing sprint artifacts, perform Scrum Master functions or activities, and represent the project team at change, prioritization, engineering, or requirement review board meetings. Create program documentation. Coordinate, support, and participate in program and system meetings and reviews. Track action item status and provide updates to management. Perform all activities relating to the release and deployment of updates, including notifying users and stakeholders, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with managing systems and software development projects  

-Experience with managing software development projects in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
-Experience with leading in an Agile software development environment
-Experience with working independently or under limited direction or guidance

-Ability to decompose business requirements
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting the intelligence community (IC)
-Experience with Agile tools, including Jira
-Experience with performing one or more roles in the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
-Experience with writing requirements as features or user stories
-Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
-Ability to be a self-motivated team player
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

-Agile Project Management Certification
