As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer with the skills to architect and build applications in a cloud environment from vision to production-ready system.

You will engage your passion and skills to orchestrate the best solution for any technology-based challenge and anticipate and preempt future issues based on your experience with software and systems development. You understand how all of the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will translate your customer’s IT and cybersecurity needs, along with future goals, into a plan that addresses cloud migration, integration of advanced technology, and modernization of legacy systems. You will be part of a team to support development and O&M of web-based software applications using Agile software development methodology. You will work closely with other systems engineers, developers, testers, information security engineers, user experience and interface engineers, and database developers to support the software development life cycle from requirements gathering, architecture, and design development through testing and deployment. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the design is understood and implemented as intended. Join us as we build systems to change government business and missions for the better.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with systems engineering
• Experience in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
• Experience with designing and implementing integration between systems
• Experience with designing and implementing microservices architecture
• Experience with implementing database capabilities and with one of the following technologies: MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
• Experience with working in a Linux environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud
• AWS or Cloud Certifications
