Conference Center Coordinator, Mid

Key Role:

Schedule, confirm, and exercise meetings and conferences. Manage the usage of corporate conference rooms and react to conflicts. Assist with verifying visit certifications. Configure and reconfigure conference room furniture. Prepare and disseminate weekly reservation schedules. Determine and coordinate the center's maintenance, logistics, audio visual, and communications support. Collaborate with the conference center manager to update, modify, or create policies and procedures pr documents for the firm.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with event management or hospitality operations

-Knowledge of EMS or event scheduling programs and computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, security databases, and e-mail

-Ability to interact with customers and colleagues professionally and advise personnel at all levels while fostering positive business relationships

-Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines

-TS/SCI clearance required

-HS diploma or GED
 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with access control procedures and security policies

-Ability to learn new software, as required

-Possession of excellent organizational, customer service, and time management skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
