Cost Estimator, Lead

Key Role:

Apply the principles, theories, and methods of cost estimation and analysis to developing cost estimating relationships and analyzing cost estimating methods. Analyze cost estimates, collect data, and develop methods and models for space systems. Apply advanced statistical techniques and interact with clients and colleagues expertly and effectively when resolving problems. Work independently or as a team lead to conduct assessments of cost, schedule, and technical baselines, and quantify cost and risk drivers. Apply expertise in communication.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with cost or budget analysis

-4+ years of experience in the intelligence community

-Experience with producing deliverables for senior-level review

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with space hardware cost estimating for multiple space product lines

-Experience with cost estimating for a variety of space, ground, and launch systems

-Experience with software cost estimating

-Experience with parametric and analogy estimating, data collection and normalization, model development and method development, including multivariate regression analysis, risk analysis, and cost improvement curve analysis
