Cyber Threat Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide technical and operational Cyber threat work support to a DoD client. Assist the client and other Joint task force partner agencies with the identification and attribution of Cyber threats and infrastructure. Conduct extensive partner agency engagement and document developments and findings via operational lead reports and technical reports. Generate intelligence community (IC) reporting derived from processed packet capture and log analysis. Maintain responsibility for key Cyber threat actors and methodologies. Oversee efforts to collaborate actively with law enforcement, counterintelligence, and IC peers to support a greater comprehension of Cyber threats, threat actors, and methodologies to detect them.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity role, including threat analyst, intelligence analyst, or network analyst

-Experience with all-source analysis or analysis supporting counterintelligence or law enforcement missions

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with scripting or programming languages, including Bash scripting, Python, or Perl

-Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems

-Experience with working for the DoD

-Knowledge of basic Internet protocols, including TCP/IP and HTTP

-Ability to think and work independently with minimal supervision

-Ability to analyze network traffic data for anomalous or malicious content with tools, including Kibana, Wireshark, NetworkMiner, tcpdump, and Microsoft Excel

-BA or BS degree

-Active Cyber Certification, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CISSP

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
