Financial Resource Specialist, Senior

Key role:

Serve as a technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects. Interface with top management, respond to their requests for financial data, and resolve report and compliance issues. Review invoices and update project tracking data in centralized data base. Coordinate with project managers, gvernment managers, vendors, and government finance offices to ensure accuracy of financial budget and expenditure data. Develop budget forecasts, maintain accurate accounting for expenditures, and prepare monthly financial reports. Prepare special reports and financial studies for management and alert them to significant variances to plan. Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation and provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

-Experience with supporting the intelligence community and using client budget and financial systems

-Ability to brief senior leadership on financial matters

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 10+ years of experience in a financial field, including accounting, budgeting, or finance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting a working capital fund

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
