Graphic Designer/Strategic Communicator

Key Role:

Design and deliver visual and written materials using specific graphic design and mass communications hardware and software. Consult with organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels. Assist with developing briefings, creating talking points and key messages, and writing articles, newsletters, and web site content. Turn information and data into easy-to-comprehend graphics that help convince others. Create infographics for an executive audience, design and maintain a web site, and support meeting presentations. Research, design, and prototype the look and feel of both digital and non-digital products, making products more intuitive, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing for the user.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with creating presentations, whitepapers, talking points, and other related products for internal and external use

-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) and Microsoft Office

-Ability to be a self-starter and multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced and team-based environment ​

-Ability to show a portfolio showcasing broad visual and mass communications expertise

-Ability to create and implement communication plans driving toward tangible solutions

-TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 8 years of experience with creative media solutions or MA or MS degree and 6+ years of experience with creative media solutions

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with front-end web design, HTML and CSS coding, or content management systems, including Joomla! or WordPress

-Experience with data visualization, technical illustration, or infographic project production

-Experience with videography, photography, 3D, animation, or interactive products

-Experience with following or developing visual branding guidelines

-Experience with working in the Intelligence Community environment

-Knowledge of information architecture and usability

Clearance:
