Industrial/Organizational Psychologist

Key Role:
Support competency modeling efforts in preparation for the development and deployment of the client’s new application portal. Work as part of a team and support the client by performing job analyses to identify and validate competencies for selection. Contribute to the development of a matching and scoring approach that will allow hiring managers to efficiently assess applicants' qualifications for a variety of occupations. Work in alignment with the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures (UGESP) to ensure fair and valid selection practices that comply with federal law. Interact regularly with the team developing the new application portal, providing feedback on key functionality and capabilities that will enable the desired matching and scoring approach.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in the industrial organizational psychology or strategic human capital field

-3+ years of experience with human capital study methods, including competency modeling, and job analysis

-3+ years of experience with the intelligence community (IC)

-Experience with gathering subject matter expert (SME) input through interviews, facilitated sessions, surveys, and focus groups

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to support multiple initiatives and balance resources and time to meet iterative requirements and changing priorities concurrently

-Ability to prepare and brief senior executives on complex business topics

-Ability to articulate a future state vision for change, associated pros and cons, and a transition roadmap

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-MA or MS degree in Psychology or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
