The Challenge:

Do you find yourself constantly looking for more and better information? Do you want a job where you can use your knowledge and research skills to improve national security? Critical decisions are made every single day in our government. With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give clients the right answers. More connected devices, larger storage capacity, and faster connections have resulted in an explosion of available information. The problem facing the Intelligence Community (IC) is no longer how to get more data – it’s understanding how to turn massive amounts of data into answers. As an open source intelligence (OSINT) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will use your specialized technical, linguistic, and analytic experience, as well as your attention to detail, to perform full spectrum of OSINT operations from planning and collection to processing and production to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong technical and analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity for you to use those skills to protect our national security and inform national-level decision makers.

As an OSINT SME on our team, you’ll explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to support the United States Government and operational partners. Apply your expertise in intelligence collection, operations, and qualitative and quantitative analysis to enhance the client’s mission. Discover and exploit available social media content, develop new OSINT tradecraft workflows and documents, and integrate OSINT tradecraft and findings into all-source intelligence targeting processes, including HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, and MASINT. As an OSINT SME on our team, you’ll help the client understand complex technical, operational, military, and political changes in given regions. Using your understanding of various OSINT collection platforms and foreign language translation techniques, you’ll validate information and apply industry and client tradecraft as you build assessments for the internal client, IC-wide customers, senior policy makers, and the warfighter. As the authority in your discipline, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in key collection and critical thinking techniques, language, culture, and data science and to share your methodologies with other intelligence professionals. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our client and the broader IC.

Empower change with us.
