Aerospace Electrical Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to helping our client maintain our strategic deterrent. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to evaluate and analyze systems designs to ensure that weapons systems will operate as designed.

That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, to evaluate defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific and engineering research. This includes capability and reverse engineering analysis, complex foreign electronic systems, subsystems, facilities and equipment. You’ll directly impact an aerospace mission by teaming with the client and evaluate, analyze and advise the client concerning multiple electronic systems. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as an electrical engineer conducting analysis
  • Knowledge of selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
  • Knowledge of information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and technically advanced
  • Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with electric power, microelectronics, electronic hardware, circuits, sensors, guidance and control, signals, electromagnetic, electro-optical (BO), infrared (IR) and similar areas associated with current and projected electronic systems and subsystems.
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including briefing
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • MA or MS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 110,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
