Cyber Risk Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity and privacy analysis and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance life cycle process. Plan, analyze, and finalize cybersecurity and privacy policies, programs, compliance artifacts, or standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation and management. Develop the documentation, validation and accreditation processes necessary to assure systems meet security and privacy requirements. Conduct an assessment of the effectiveness of an organization’s IT security and privacy training program, including conduct of social engineering exercises to ensure training remains consistent with current cybersecurity and privacy threats and policies, and assists in achieving full compliance with all laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology or cyber assessments of DoD systems or cyber technologies used by Space Mission systems
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cyber policies
  • Ability to determine system vulnerabilities and residual risk based on analysis of technical artifacts, interviews, and evaluation of current system state
  • Ability to evaluate effectiveness of proposed mitigations
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DOD 8570 IAT/IAM Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with executing cyber risk assessments to perform duties assigned by the Security Control Assessor (SCA) for Space or AF systems.
  • Experience with making recommendations on processes and methodologies to assess cybersecurity risk on information technology within the SCA’s appointed authorization boundary
  • Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 95,000 to 105,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
